A native of Kingstree, South Carolina, Currie McCullough moved to the Holy City in 1989 and quickly fell in love. Though she’s lived in many other cities since, none have piqued her interest quite like Charleston, with its optimal location, story-filled buildings, beautiful beaches, surplus of watersports, and friendly, creative community. “Life in Charleston is what you make of it, but the opportunity for good food, friends, and fun activities pulls people here from all over the world,” says Currie. “Once you spend time in this beautiful city, life in Charleston is hard to leave.”

The Bishop England High School and College of Charleston grad chose a career in realty because it combines her passion for art and architecture (she received B.A.s in art history and art studio) with her love of the multifaceted neighborhoods of Charleston, and for the human interaction it affords. She has bought and sold many houses on behalf of her clients, who she always regards as good friends.

Aside from real estate, Currie’s passions include browsing art, horseback riding, photography, speaking (admittedly poor) French, exploring the Lowcountry, and spending time with friends. She resides in the Wagener Terrace neighborhood of downtown Charleston.

Peter Stanley began his real estate career while attending Clemson University, where he worked at Keller Williams and later pursued commercial real estate—two opportunities that gave him a robust firsthand education in the field. From those experiences he learned the importance of attending to the needs and goals of his clients above all else, and began to specialize in bringing peace of mind to homeowners who previously struggled with selling their home. One of Peter’s strongest skills as an agent is his ability to complete extensive, customized research for each of his clients, ensuring that he is providing the best and most cost-efficient options on the market.

Having lived in most of Charleston’s neighborhoods at one point or another—from Isle of Palms to downtown Charleston to West Ashley to Yonges Island—he has a deep appreciation for the variety of landscapes, culture, and opportunities the Lowcountry has to offer. Peter is knowledgeable on all things Charleston and is an active member of the community, taking part in many of the annual running races (the Cooper River Bridge Run being his favorite); he believes the Holy City is truly one of the best places in the world to live and knows the importance of keeping it a sacred place.
